Jewyo Rhii at PANORAMA, Songeun

From August 22 to October 16, Jewyo Rhii participates in the group exhibition PANORAMA at Songeun Art Center, Seoul.

As Love Your Depot_Gangnam Paviilion closed after more than four years, the works stored inside were moved to SONGEUN for the exhibition Where Do Works Go?, where they are once again brought into view in a new setting. Over the past six years, Jewyo Rhii has cared for works by dozens of artists, coming to understand the distinctive qualities of each practice and the particular allure of each piece. In this concluding chapter, she reflects on how the artists and works she has engaged with ultimately form the content of Love Your Depot itself. Rhii continues to explore the sense of proximity and shared experience among artists of the same era, seeing this as a fitting close to her depot project. The exhibition in 2025 marks the beginning of her reflection on what may remain in an artistic storage. Initiated in 2019 as an art storage project offering temporary care for works without a place to go, Love Your Depot also encompassed exhibitions, lectures, artist talks, and video streaming programs, all of which were documented.

Built in 2021 as a form of public art, the Gangnam Pavilion was installed in Suseo-dong and closed in June 2025, leaving behind shared questions for continued consideration.
