El Anatsui, master of contemporary African art, is participating in the project ‘Africa2020’ held across France. ‘Africa2020’ is an ambitious project designed to expand our understanding of the world and present African perspectives on the major agendas of the 21st century across the subjects of technology, climate, environment, art, and economy. El Anatsui will present his carte blanche exhibition “In Quest of Freedom” at the historic Conciergerie in Paris, looking to its history and architecture for inspiration.
