Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press

The catalog for "Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press: Pranayama Typhoon ", the artist’s solo exhibition held at Barakat Contemporary in 2021, is out now. The publication includes collaborative images by 'Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press X Vogue Korea' which attempts to metaphorically show the correlation between fashion and military aircraft/war along with image of the exhibitied works. It also contains a play script by Fiona Banner and British Novelist Tom McCarthy, based on the theme of the exhibition, as well as texts by Lizzie Carey-Thomas (curator of the Serpentine Gallery), and Soojung Yi (curator of the National Museum of Modern Art).
