Barakat Contemporary is excited to announce that Sojung Jun will participate in an artist talk at MASI Lugano on 22 April, 2026, as part of the exhibition K-NOW! Korean Video Art Today. In conversation with curator Francesca Benini, the artist will discuss her work Green Screen (2021) and the broader themes that shape her practice, followed by a Q&A session.
In parallel, Sojung Jun presents the European premiere of I Do Nine-Tailed Fox at Mudam Luxembourg–Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean on 25-26 April, 2026. Combining live music, archival material, and newly produced film, the performance traces the history of the Koryo Theatre and its displacement, interweaving it with the myth of the shapeshifting nine-tailed fox to reflect on narratives of migration, survival, and transformation.
