Sojung Jun is selected as one of four artists to be sponsored as part of the annual “Artist of the Year 2023" prize, co-hosted by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) and SBS Foundation.
Sojung Jun, who is interested in creating a nonlinear space-time using the multimedia of video, sound, sculpture and publication, and exploring how the changes made in physical boundaries penetrate daily sensorial experiences, will have her solo exhibition of the “Artist of the Year” at the MMCA in Seoul from this coming October 20 to March 17.
